Safety Demos

Educating the community, especially youth, about cooperatives is part of the Scenic Rivers Energy Cooperative mission.  However, it doesn't stop there!  Educating the community, especially youth, about the importance of electrical safety is something the Co-op sets as a priority.  Each electrical accident is one more than should happen. 

With education as our goal, Scenic Rivers Energy Cooperative provides electrical safety literature to area schools, performs "hot line" demonstrations, and presents for classes.  If you belong to a school or an organization that is interested in educational materials/ speakers, or an electrical and safety demonstration, please contact our office at 1-800-236-2141. 

*Each year Scenic Rivers Energy Cooperative sponsors the area Rural Safety Day.  In June, the Scenic Rivers Energy Cooperative Safety Committee performed a mock disaster for the Grant County Rural Safety Day.  To see the demonstration, click here.
